Η Λευκή Καρποδίνη έχει δώσει συναυλίες στην Ευρώπη και τον Καναδά, το Ισραήλ, τη Ρωσία, τις ΗΠΑ και τα νησιά Μπαρμπέιντος. Οι εμφανίσεις της σε φεστιβάλ περιλαμβάνουν το Schleswig Holstein, Mecklenburg Vorpommern (Rising Stars Series), Dresdner Tagen der zeitgenössischen Musik, Banff, Cully Classique, Musique Printaniere à Beaucaire (Pianist in Residence), Brighton, Cheltenham, Symi, Φεστιβάλ Πιάνου Ηρακλείου, Διεθνείς Ημέρες Μουσικής Καλαμάτας, Φεστιβάλ Αιγαίου, Αίγινας, Παξών (Pianist in Residence) και άλλα.Έχει εμφανιστεί σε αίθουσες συναυλιών όπως το Wigmore Hall, το Purcell Room, το Bolivar Hall, το St. Martin-in-the-fields, το St. John’s Smith Square, το Meistersaal, το ZKM, το Rolston Hall, Ίδρυμα Θεοχαράκη, Παρνασσός, Μέγαρο Αθηνών, Παλλάς / Ελλάδα κ.ά.
ΣΥΝΕΡΓΑΣΙΕΣ
Ως σολίστ και λάτρης της μουσικής δωματίου και του Lied έχει συνεργαστεί με πολυάριθμες ορχήστρες και σύνολα, όπως το Ensemble Modern, η Paneuropean Orchestra, η Guildhall Symphony Orchestra, η Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα του Δήμου Αθηνών, το Stenhammer Quartet και με καταξιωμένους Έλληνες και ξένους μουσικούς. Κατά την παραμονή της στο Βερολίνο, ήταν μέλος των πιανιστικών τρίο Fibonacci και Trioskop και από το 2013 εμφανίζεται σε συναυλίες πιανιστικού ντούο με τον Michael Brownlee Walker.
ΒΡΑΒΕΙΑ • ΥΠΟΤΡΟΦΙΕΣ
Της απενεμήθη Χρυσό Μετάλλιο και τιμητική διάκριση στον Μουσικό Διαγωνισμό «Filon» (Ελλάδα), το πρώτο βραβείο στο Διαγωνισμό Schubert (GSMD, Λονδίνο) και το βραβείο Sir Henry Richardson από το Musicians’ Benevolent Fund (MBF,Λονδίνο). Έχει επίσης λάβει υποτροφίες για τις καλοκαιρινές μουσικές ακαδημίες Mozarteum στο Salzburg, Tel-Hai στο Ισραήλ, Banff στον Καναδά και Schleswig Holstein στη Γερμανία.
ΣΥΓΧΡΟΝΗ ΜΟΥΣΙΚΗ • ΗΧΟΓΡΑΦΗΣΕΙΣ
Η συμβολή της στη σύγχρονη μουσική περιλαμβάνει συναυλίες, ηχογραφήσεις και πρεμιέρες έργων Ελλήνων και ξένων συνθετών, συναυλίες στη γνωστή σειρά συναυλιών σύγχρονης μουσικής του Park Lane Group στο Purcell Room του Λονδίνου, στο φεστιβάλ σύγχρονης μουσικής της Δρέσδης κ.α. Πρόσφατες πρώτες παγκόσμιες παρουσιάσεις έργων περιλαμβάνουν την Σονάτα για Φλάουτο και Πιάνο του Χρήστου Σαμαρά και το “Tenebrae” του Nestor Taylor. Το 2024 κυκλοφόρησε σε CD ηχογράφησή της της Σονάτας για βιολί και πιάνο Αρ.3 του Φάνη Αντωνόπουλου .Έχει ηχογραφήσει για το BBC Radio 3, την Philarmonia Orchestra, την Ελληνική Ραδιοφωνία, την Irida Music και την Deutscher Musikrat σε συνεργασία με το Ensemle Modern.
ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΣΗ
Αριστούχος διπλωματούχος του Ωδείου Αθηνών σε ηλικία 19 ετών συνέχισε τις σπουδές της (BMus, PGDip, PACC και MMus) ως υπότροφος του ΙΚΥ στο Guildhall School of Music and Drama του Λονδίνου. Στο Belgais Centre της Πορτογαλίας παρακολούθησε μαθήματα από την διάσημη Maria João Pires και αργότερα με υποτροφία στην International Ensemble Modern Academy (IEMA) στη Φρανκφούρτη.
ΔΙΔΑΣΚΑΛΙΑ
Η Λευκή Καρποδίνη παράλληλα με την πιανιστική της καριέρα είναι αφοσιωμένη στην διδασκαλία. Εχει διδάξει σε διάφορα ιδρύματα στην Ελλάδα, το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και τη Γερμανία και έχει δώσει σεμινάρια πιάνου στην Ελλάδα, το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και τη Γαλλία. .Είναι καθηγήτρια πιάνου στη Μουσική Σχολή της Σχολής Μωραΐτη και στο Athenaeum Ωδείο. Τον Ιούλιο του 2026 θα διδάξει για δεύτερη συνεχόμενη χρονιά στην καλοκαιρινή ακαδημία πιάνου “Music at Chateau d’ Aix” στη Γαλλία.

COLLABORATIONS
As soloist and chamber musician she has collaborated with numerous orchestras and ensembles, including Ensemble Modern, the Pan-European Orchestra, Guildhall Symphony Orchestra and the Athens Symphony Orchestra as well as the Stenhammar Quartet and international callibre musicians such as Ruby Hughes, Claire Booth, Myrsini Margariti, Rafal Payne, Alda Dizdari, Aggelos Liakakis, Maria Zachariadou and many more. While in Berlin, she was a member of piano trios Fibonacci and Trioskop. and later on she formed a piano duo with Michael Brownlee Walker.
AWARDS • SCHOLARSHIPS
Awards she has received include the Gold Medal at the “Filon” Music Competition (Greece), first prize at the Schubert Competition (GSMD, London), and the Sir Henry Richardson Award (MBF London). For three consecutive years she was offered the Greek State Scholarship (I.K.Y.) and has received scholarships to attend various summer academies around the world such as the Mozarteum in Salzburg and the Tel-Hai Piano in Israel.
RECORDINGS • CONTEMPORARY MUSIC
She has recorded for BBC Radio 3, the Philharmonia Orchestra, Greek Radio, the Deutscher Musikrat in collaboration with Ensemble Modern and Irida Music. An advocate of contemporary music, her collaboration with composers includes recordings, performances and premieres of works by many Greek and foreign composers. Concerts include appearances in the well- known contemporary music series Park Lane Group at London’s Purcell Room. Recent world premieres of works include Christos Samaras’ Flute and Piano Sonata and Nestor Taylor’s “Tenebrae”. In 2024 a recording of hers of Fanis Antonopoulos’ 3rd Violin and Piano Sonata was released in CD by Irida Music.
EDUCATION
Lefki Karpodini graduated with distinction from Athens Conservatoire and continued her studies (BMus, PGDip, PACC and MMus) at London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama. A further scholarship from the Belgais Centre in Portugal enabled her to study with the famous Portuguese pianist Maria João Pires and later she followed a course in contemporary music at the International Ensemble Modern Academy (IEMA) in Frankfurt.
TEACHING
Aside from her career as a concert pianist Lefki Karpodini is a devoted piano professor. She has taught in different institutions and contexts in UK, Germany and Greece and has given masterclasses in Greece, UK and France. She currently holds a teaching position at the Music School of Moraitis School and Athenaeum Conservatoire. In 2026 she will be returning as guest professor at the summer piano course Music at Chataeu d’ Aix in France.
